CARE INSTRUCTIONS

FRAMES AND DOORS

For cleaning, we recommend using a damp cotton cloth with a mild detergent such as mild dishwashing soap or regular soap. Avoid using strong cleaning agents that can damage the product. Bathroom furniture is of course exposed to more moisture than furniture in other rooms in a home. Our bathroom furniture is adapted to the bathroom and made of moisture-resistant materials but in spite of this the furniture should not be exposed to water or extremely high humidity.

Remember to ensure that the ventilation is good and that the furniture is placed at such a distance from the bathtub/shower that water cannot splash directly onto the furniture. Wet spots, even ordinary water, are to be wiped up as soon as possible. Treat your bathroom furniture with care, then it will provide comfort for many years to come.

PORCELAIN SINK

The porcelain washbasin has a glazed surface that is easy to keep clean.

The surface is resistant to most chemicals except for strong acids (e.g.hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid) and strong alkalis (e.g. caustic soda).

Clean your porcelain washbasin with regular detergent.

In case of severe stains, use a mild lime-soluble detergent.

SINK IN STAINLESS STEEL PVD

Clean with dishwashing liquid and water. Be sure to wipe dry after use and avoid to let liquids self-dry on the surface. Avoid strong solutions of mineral acids and some organic acids that can cause corrosion on the stainless steel surface. You should also avoid chlorine solutions and silver polish. Be sure to rinse off any bathroom products containing acids, salt, etc. Should there be stains, use a soft cloth and toothpaste (Colgate) to gently rub them off.

WASHBASIN IN SOLID SURFACE

For daily cleaning, use a damp cloth with a mild detergent. Should scratches occur, they may be sanded off with Scotch-Brite sponge or wet sandpaper (grain 400-800). Do not use solvents such as acetone or trichlorethylene and other chemicals such as strong acids (e.g. citric acid) or strong bases (e.g. caustic soda) or other highly aggressive substances for cleaning. Avoid washing the wash basin with water exceeding +65 °C, as there is a risk of cracking the surface.

PORCELAIN STONEWARE

Granite ceramics can be cleaned with most cleaning agents on the market. After installation, the ceramic top should be thoroughly cleaned with an acidic cleaning agent to remove construction and production residues of inorganic dirt. For daily cleaning, a microfiber cloth with water and a pH-neutral or weakly alkaline cleaning agent such as all-purpose cleaner is recommended.

HANDLES

The brass handles are made of solid polished brass and will eventually develop a beautiful patina. However, if you want to polish the handles, we recommend "Häxans” metal polish. Make sure to avoid getting polish on the cabinet doors.

The copper handles have a surface of Copper PVD. They will eventually age and darken. Do not try to clean these with metal polish. These should only be cleaned with lukewarm water and a mild detergent and then wiped dry.

Chrome and Matt Black handles do not age, these should only be cleaned with lukewarm water and a mild detergent and then wiped dry.
